Our client is a wholesale trading and distribution company for a wide range of products across the Asia-Pacific region.

Job Description

- Proactively identify new market opportunities, generate leads, and make cold calls/emails to potential clients.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable chemical solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to close deals and achieve set KPIs.
- Coordinate between sales team, logistics, customer service, and technical support.
- Handle order processing, follow-up on deliveries, and resolve custom complaints.
- Develop business plan and identify sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales target.
- Responsible for sales volume for company's product for Asian markets.
- Align with company principal’s direction on targeted segments and business strategy.
- Manage customers’ credit performance.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company.

Job Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably sales experience in the chemicals field.
- Able to work independently as well as a good teamwork player.
- Experience in hunting new customer (hunter).
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience adapting to a challenging and fast-changing environment.
- Understand supply chain of chemicals products/services in regional setting an advantage.
- Willing to travel overseas when required.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Malay to communicate with Mandarin and/or Malay speaking customers/suppliers/vendors is an added advantage.

Compensation

- Work location: Central, Singapore
- Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
