Job Description

- Understand customer requirements, design, conceptualize and develop the Control Process/ Flow Chart designs and development work using C#, C++, VB and PLC based programming software.
- Facilitate technical architecture and design discussions, review technical design, and provide feedback to respective teams.
- Work closely with customers on their requirements and be part of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Execute project plan, track project delivery progress, and ensure project schedule are strictly adhere to.
- Manage risks and daily issues; determine corrective action for deviations from plans; conduct retrospectives while providing direction and advice.
- Provide regular project status report and management update.
- Work with other Department Managers and manage software delivery roadmap.
- Motivate project team members, resolve conflicts and give constructive advice.
- Prioritize typical job responsibilities in conjunction with ad hoc requests.
- Any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

- Possess at least a Degree in Software/Electrical/Electronics/Engineering or equivalent.
- Have at least 5-7 years of experience in Factory Automation/Material Handling and/or Conveyor Systems
- Ability to write, speak and interact clearly and professionally with colleagues and customers.
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in machine programming from scratch
- Experienced in sourcing for electrical components and possess strong technical knowledge.
- Able to understand electrical diagrams and panel designs.
- Proficient in using SolidWorks.
- Strong coding skills in C++, C# and Visual Basic
- Experienced in PLC programming (Mitsubishi, Omron, Proface or Keyence)
- Experience in SCADA programming will be highly regarded.
- Able to travel overseas within short notice (if required)
- Working in a multi-cultural environment

Compensation

- Working hour: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)
