It is a professional services firm that provides tax, accounting, and business consulting services to local and international clients operating in Singapore and across Southeast Asia. Their business encompasses a range of services, including cross-border business structuring, M&A advisory, regional expansion strategies, and transfer pricing matters, among others.

Job Description

- Conduct Financial Due Diligence and support the PMI (Post-Merger Integration)
- Financial fact-finding and internal control investigation
- Perform financial evaluation and prepare reports for relevant stakeholders, including review of financial documents, Q&A, perform financial analysis and reporting
- Support the acquisition process/M&A process until deal close
- Support the relevant stakeholders with financial closing and building internal controls, including preparing month-end closing, annual financial statements, advising on journal entries, preparing consolidation packages, drafting internal policies/regulations and proposing process improvements
- Review, conduct interviews and site visits to understand the financial status. Perform financial modelling and business valuations
- Liaise effectively with clients, auditors and tax agents to ensure service standards and reporting deadlines are met
- Overseas travelling: Malaysia and Indonesia. Once a month (about 3-4 days per trip)
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company

Job Requirements

- Accounting qualifications are highly preferred (not strictly mandatory, but strong capabilities in finance and tax)
- At least 3 years of experience in an audit firm or relevant experience handling FDD
- Familiar with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (SFRS)
- Proficient in English language; Japanese language proficiency is a Plus Point to liaise with Japanese clients (not essential)
- Basic knowledge of Excel and Word
- Willingness and flexibility to travel for business trips to neighboring countries (e.g., Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.) for specific projects needs at approximately once every 2 - 3 months
- A highly cooperative team player with excellent communication skills
- Independent, organized, and able to work harmoniously with colleagues

Compensation

- Working hours: Monday to Friday 9AM - 6PM
