Our client is a chemicals trading firm, founded in Kyoto, Japan in 1832.
It began as a specialized sales agent securing exclusive contracts to sell industry-leading products from around the world in Japan. Over the years, they have leveraged their technology and information gathering expertise —as well as their global network—to transform the business into a hybrid model offering superior manufacturing, processing, and R&D functions as well as trading company services.
- Manage end-to-end customer order fulfilment, from forecasting and procurement through to delivery and order closure.
- Coordinate closely with customers, suppliers and the Sales team to ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning to meet customer demand.
- Oversee warehouse operations, stock reconciliation, inventory accuracy and cycle count activities.
- Manage slow-moving, damaged and obsolete inventory, and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions.
- Coordinate with 3PL providers and logistics partners to ensure efficient warehousing, shipment and delivery operations.
- Plan and monitor shipments, transportation activities and freight arrangements to ensure on-time delivery performance.
- Verify logistics-related invoices, manage shipment cost postings and ensure accurate transaction records in SAP.
- Administer insurance declarations and claims, working with insurers and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Support process improvements, system enhancements and cross-functional projects to drive operational excellence.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related discipline.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in customer service, order fulfilment, supply chain or logistics operations.
- Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.

- Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5PM
