Job Description

- Lead a team to meet project delivery according to schedule
- Execute the project with satisfaction by the customer under PDCA (plan-do-check-action) cycle
- Develop Project construction scheme: quality, safety, environment and master schedule, ISO Quality Plan, OSHA Safety Plan
- Identify risk, solution plan, develop budget plan
- Develop trust relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
- Organize site work schedule with relevant stakeholders, e.g. customer, suppliers, subcontractors
- Manage master construction schedule, quality, safety, reduction original budget, to meet authorities code of practices and client's requirements
- Implement approved installation methods
- Adopt efficient installation methods to reduce cost
- Build relationship and negotiate with customer, suppliers and subcontractor on the variations
- Coordination with suppliers and subcontractors on the safety requirement
- Educate and inform all site staff with project construction scheme
- Identify staff weakness areas and improve on daily basis. Continuous on-job training, e.g. seminar, to improve management skill related to construction work
- Guidance and training of junior staff
- Develop efficient communication with all site staff accordance to the site organization and smooth communication environments with customer
- React to site issues and lead the site staff to resolve proactively
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company

Job Requirements

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma with at least 10 years of relevant experience in the similar industry
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including 5 years of managerial experience (manager/project manager)
- Understand the Code of practice
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 / OSHAS 18000
- Possess Building construction safety supervisor course
- Meticulous and responsible
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly motivated and proactive
- Strong on overall coordination and implementation of all disciplines
- Strong in technical scope with chiller/ cooling plant experience
- Preferably with contractor experience

Compensation

- Site office location: Central (Raffles / Marina Bay Sands)
- Working hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5.15pm
- Variable bonus
- Variable allowances from $200 - $1,900/month
