Job Description

- Support the implementation and maintenance of risk management framework, policies, and procedures
- Prepare materials committees (Credit, ALM, and Operational Risk) and act as secretariat for these committees
- Monitor key risk indicators, risk limits, and risk appetite metrics, and escalate breaches or emerging risks as appropriate
- Update daily monitoring reports, including VaR, bond evaluation, FX positions, and fixed interest rate positions
- Manage outsourcing risks in accordance with MAS regulations, and support outsourcing registers, due diligence documentation, periodic reviews, and related regulatory reporting
- Assist in coordinating business continuity planning (BCP) activities, including testing, documentation updates, and follow-up of action items
- Monitor regulatory developments and assist in assessing their impact on the Bank’s risk management framework
- Oversee the Policy & Procedure (P&P) lifecycle, initiating reviews and managing updates
- Perform Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculations and related monitoring in accordance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
- Perform MAS rating and related documentation
- Maintain and update credit files and related credit documentation
- Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and follow-up remediation activities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the company

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Risk Management, Accounting, or a related field
- At least 2 - 5 years of experience in risk management, audit, or banking operations within a financial institution
- Solid understanding of MAS regulations and risk management principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexible and with the ability to articulate issues clearly to management
- A team player with a proactive, positive and cheerful disposition
- Proficiency in Japanese language is a strong asset to liaise with Japanese-speaking stakeholders, but not mandatory

- Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
