Our client is a leading engineering solutions provider specializing in vibration monitoring, condition monitoring, instrumentation, and predictive maintenance systems. Backed by decades of industry expertise, the company serves customers across power generation, petrochemical, marine, and industrial sectors throughout Asia, delivering reliable technology and technical support.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Singapore office and the Japan head office, communicating in both Japanese and English to convey nuanced technical and commercial details accurately.
- Coordinate shipping and delivery operations with factories, including scheduling, managing lead times, and resolving delivery-related queries.
- Prepare quotations for individual orders and items.
- Prepare business documents and presentation materials.
- Respond to customer inquiries (in English) and provide first-line support, at times independently.
- Provide on-site coordination and informal interpretation support during visits from the Japan head office, as needed.
- Take on a broad range of administrative and operational tasks to support the wider team.
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (able to handle nuanced communication with the Japan head office in Japanese and serve English-speaking customers).
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sales Assistant / Sales Coordinator / Sales Administrator.
- Strong multi-tasking ability with a proactive, self-driven approach; comfortable taking initiative in a small team.
- Background or experience in the electrical / electronics / industrial / engineering sector is preferred.
- Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:20 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour break)
