Our client is a Singapore-based professional advisory firm which the Group Company was established in 1949 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Our client provides consulting and advisory services with a focus on cross-border business between Japan and ASEAN leveraging on the Group’s existing network built over the years.

Job Description

- Lead and oversee the team in delivering advisory mandates and ensuring high-quality execution
- Originate and execute transactions, including cross-border M&A, fundraising, and investment deals
- Support and advise Japanese companies on international expansion strategies
- Oversee and support cross-border real estate transactions
- Provide business strategy advisory to clients, supporting growth and expansion initiatives
- Lead and manage transaction-related due diligence processes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Advise and support companies seeking to expand their business or invest in the Japanese market
- Provide general advisory and support services, including managing client relationships and ensuring high-quality delivery of engagements

Job Requirements

- Min 5 years of M&A experience, with more than 10 years of total relevant professional experience
- Min 2 years of managerial experience
- Strong people management and administrative skills
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong interest in leading business development efforts
- Ability to assess risk and return objectively
- Willingness to work across a wide range of transactions
- Willingness to travel overseas when required, when deals are overseas
- Business-level Japanese proficiency is added advantage to communicate with Japanese Stakeholders
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., accounting, legal, CFA/financial analyst credentials) is added advantage

Compensation

- Working location: CBD
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (one hour lunch break)
- Bonus depends on the achievement and contribution
- Annual leave: 10 days/year with annual increment by 1 day (Max 20 days)
- Other leaves: Marriage and compassionate leave; Statutory leave
