Job Description

- Job ratio is 50% for making new business and 50% for maintaining the current business
- Marketing and taking action aggressive and spontaneously to create new business
- Maintaining current customers to handle daily task efficiently
- To control the trading material stock inventory
- Attend to customer enquiry and provide sales services to customer
- Prepare quotation and liaison with customer on pricing matter
- Follow up with customer on payment issue
- Sourcing for suitable supplier for purchase of trading material
- Evaluate of supplier performance to ensure purchased products met the customer requirement
- Check P/O from customer and to supplier for trade term, payment term, price and lead time
- Follow up with customer on any arise including customer complaint
- Take proactive actions to ensure customer satisfaction

Job Requirements

- Min 5 years of Sales and BD experience in both commodity (PP, PS. PE) and engineering plastics (ABS, SAN, ASA, PC,/ABS, POM, PBT, etc.) for leader role; 8 years for supervisor role
- Degree qualification
- Basic knowledge of Plastics Distribution business model, good technical knowledge and connection with business partners in Plastics industry
- Good and aggressive personality with analytical skills and willingness to learn
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English
- Expertise in a specific field and able to independently perform tasks that arise within the team while making own decisions
- Able to lead a field-level team
- Able to demonstrate expertise in multiple areas
- Ability to coach juniors
- Ability to have a positive influence on others
- This position is required to travel to Batam and JB to support existing customers at first, then travel to developing Asian countries due to business expansion in the future

Compensation

- Working location: Central
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:20pm
- Hybrid working arrangement
- Commute Allowance
