Job Description
- Assist the Manager in accounting functions.
- Control and handle petty cash; ensure cash on hand is tie with the book.
- Handle all accounts payable record-keeping and produce monthly accounting reports.
- Upkeep all payable transactions, prepare payment vouchers and produce monthly creditors accounting reports.
- Maintain detailed, perpetual inventory records and produce periodic reports.
- Update billings and costs on individual job and prepare job status reports.
- Closing of month-end accounts and produce monthly financial statements.
- Closing of year-end accounts and ensure smooth-running of regular auditing.
- Handle other accounting matters such as chasing for payment, verifying expense statements, liaising with external auditors on taxation matters and etc.
- Maintain full sets of accounts for the company.
- Provide necessary information / reports to Japan Head Quarter.
- Promptly submission of GST returns and tax report, etc.
- Liaise with bankers, external auditors and tax agent, etc.
- Handle subsidiaries’ accounts / section / branch accounts.
- Ensure compliance of all accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the accounts department.
- Take on added tasks / responsibilities as assigned by the superiors.
Job Requirements
- Must possess at least Diploma in Accounting
- At least 5 years experience in manufacturing company preferred
- Able to work in fast pace environment
Compensation
- Working location: Tuas
- Working hours: 5-days work week from 8.15am to 5.45pm
- 14 days annual leave
- 14 days medical leave

- Variable bonus - depends on company & individual performance
