Job Description

- Act as a senior member of the team, supporting the Manager and guiding junior members in all operational duties.
- Play a key role in the team's efforts to achieve the annual GTB target.
- Oversee all import/export arrangements, including permit issuance and billing operations.
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and NVOCCs.
- Maintain expert knowledge and oversee the management of licenses (ZeroGST, MES, RACA, etc.).
- Act as the primary liaison with customs, IRAS, and other relevant government agencies.
- Support sales activities, including customer visits and telemarketing.
- Deliver performance reports and contribute to strategic planning (monthly meetings).
- Report effectively to the Manager, other departments, HQ, and customers.

Job Requirements

- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in freight forwarding operations (import/export).
- Deep knowledge of freight forwarding arrangements and customs procedures in Singapore.
- Proven experience and knowledge in managing import/export licenses (e.g., ZeroGST, MES, RACA).
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating rates with carriers and NVOCCs.
- Business-level proficiency in English.
