Our client is an airline of Japan, headquartered in Tokyo. They operate services to both domestic and international destinations and had more than 20,000 employees. In 2013, this company was named a 5-Star Airline.
- Responsible for increasing sales revenue and achieving the targets through managing new and existing accounts, various sales channels including online platforms, building up brand awareness and pursuing local business opportunities.
- Formulate and conduct sales and marketing strategy for Singapore market in line with the company policy and directions.
- Establish a good understanding on your assigned portfolio of accounts’ travel policies and requirements, provide customized offers, negotiate agreements, conduct regular reviews and propose and execute interventions as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with key decision makers.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance/forecast regularly through data, reports, market intelligence and to plan and execute countermeasures.
- Work closely with Joint Venture (JV) partner to discuss on corporate pricing proposal, Time of Ticketing (TOT) program and any other joint business initiatives.
- Provide secondary support in promotional/marketing projects and campaigns.
- Manage regular reporting of performance analysis, marketing effectiveness and project status.
- Efficient management of annual sales budget to maximize profit.
- Lead the market with knowledge on potentials and trends for further improvements.
- Co-ordinate and negotiate with regional HDQ on sales and marketing strategies.
- Be a representative for the company at events.
- Provide any other administrative functions.
- Diploma or Degree in Business or Marketing related discipline.
- At least 3 years of sales and marketing experience in the airline or travel industry.
- Relevant knowledge in fares/ticketing will be an advantage.
- Japanese language ability in writing, reading, listening and speaking to communicate with Japanese corporates or VIP handling will be an advantage.
