Our client is a Japanese Izakaya restaurant located at Orchard.
- Assist in food preparation (e.g. washing, cutting, peeling ingredients), according to the recipes and instructions
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including cooking stations, equipment and utensils
- Handle dishwashing duties, including cleaning dishes, pots and kitchen equipment
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and supplies
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain hygiene and safety standards
- Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries
- Perform simple cooking tasks under supervision if needed (e.g. frying, grilling)
- Ensure food safety standards at all times
- Support overall kitchen operations during busy periods
- Preferably 1 year of related working experience
- Proficient in basic kitchen skills
- Passionate about culinary arts with a team-oriented attitude
- Good personality and time management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Working location: Orchard
- Working Hour: 4pm - 11pm (Sunday off)
- 5/6 days per week
