ClosedOur client was established in 1997. A wholly owned subsidiary of a major chemical company in Japan. They produce Super-Pure Hydrogen Peroxide and Ammonium Hydroxide for the semiconductor industry.
- As a head of department, manage the full spectrum of HR matters, including recruitment, training, work pass application, payroll, compensation, union matters, employee benefits, and etc.
- Work with Directors to establish and upgrade HR system and policies and propose improvements thereof. Play main role in drafting up HR policies.
- Develop, monitor, and improve overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
- Manage and improve HR system data integrity.
- Perform the role of main contact person for union, MOM, and other third-party organizations regarding employee matters.
- Liaise and negotiate with insurer/insurance broker or agent on the purchase and renewal of general insurances and insurances for employee benefits scheme.
- Perform daily HR duties following rules and regulations in a timely and accurate manner, in an absence of subordinates.
- Draw up budgets for the manpower and monitors the budgets.
- Assist Directors’ office to develop, review, and manage performance appraisal and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
- Provide the management with the latest market statistics on the economy, business outlook and the labour market.
- Undertake other duties assigned by Directors.
- Degree in business, management or human resource discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a managerial role.
- Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and MOM regulations.
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working location: Tuas, Singapore
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am/8.30am - 5pm/5.30pm
