- Responsible for future product and technical development, market research & product training.
- Manage the regional markets in Asia, frequent communication with Japan & occasional outreach to other region.
- Plan for existing & future model introduction into Regional Markets
- Ensure each model’s technical specification conforms to individual markets regulations on safety, emissions, fuel consumption etc.
- Conduct studies within each Market to understand customer profiling, competitors, expectations & needs
- Analyze market data & align with markets on the product & sales direction
- Work closely with each distributor to plan the right model for their markets, build consensus on planning guidelines for specs, volume, competitive environment and launch timing.
- Monthly reporting/sharing on current sales and market situation
- Coordination with HQ to secure pre-production models, support related communications & working with agencies to ensure accurate development of product related assets.
- Secure annual budget based on scope, length of project, asset requirements and prepare proposals for management’s approval.
- Purchasing and distribution of CAD Data; Coordinate CAD usage across multiple vendors for CGI development.
- Coordination among various internal divisions to support product launch developments including, accessories and aftersales
- Support communications team in product-related information to develop launch campaign assets
- Plan and execute product trainings to regional distributors and internal teams
- Ad-hoc support to other functions
- At least 3 years of working experience in Automotive industry or Marketing agencies.
- Those with no experience are welcome to apply.
- Mechanical engineering background is preferred.
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills in English.
- Passionate in automotive products and/or knowledgeable with technical language
- Team player who can effectively manage projects across multiple stakeholders (headquarters, distributors & vendors). Project management experience will be a bonus
- Detail oriented especially on product related information.
- Comfortable with numbers and capable to analyze data for management reporting
- Self-starter and resourceful to obtain information from various internal and external sources.
- Able to articulate issues and propose relevant solutions
- Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Driver’s license will be an added advantage.
- Hybrid work arrangements and some travel is expected.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday at 9am to 5:45pm
- Working location: CBD
