The business has continuously expanded from a "general real estate company” to a well-rounded corporate which is able to handle a wide range of operations within the industry, including procurement of commercial-use land, planning and development of apartment buildings, and leasing, as well as property management, sales, and holdings.

Job Description

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting activities, including the weekly payment.
- To ensure all items are invoiced and paid on time
- Responsible to manage accounts payable and receivable
- Month and end-year accounting process
- General Ledger, budgeting and cash forecasting
- Handle capital assets reconciliations, account statement reconciliations, fixed asset activity and debt activity
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Perform data entry to accounting software
- Meet the financial accounting objectives
- Liaise with Head Quarter in Japan’ finance team
- Liaise with subsidiary in overseas branch’s finance team
- Consolidating monthly accounting report from overseas branch’s and reporting to Head Quarter in Japan’ finance team

Job Requirements

- Diploma/Degree or equivalent, in accounting studies
- Preferably 5 years of working experience in preparing full set accounts
- Booking keeping experience is preferred
- Experienced in handling bank transactions
- Knowledgeable in Xero Accounting Software is preferred
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Knowledgeable of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Proficient in Japanese Language in speaking and writing to handle daily operation activities and liaise with Japanese counterparts
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Possess initiative and resourceful.
- Able to work independently

Compensation

- Working location: CBD
- Working hours: 9am - 5.50pm
- AWS and Variable Bonus
