About Company

Our client was established in 1997. A wholly owned subsidiary of a major chemical company in Japan. They produce Super-Pure Hydrogen Peroxide and Ammonium Hydroxide for the semiconductor industry.

Job Description

- Reports directly to the section engineer and/or designate
- Carry out all laboratory tests and measurements accurately in accordance to procedure and upkeep/maintain the instruments/facilities in good running conditions
- Prepares standards and reagents for analysis in accordance to procedure and ensure that all related documentation is maintained
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments and write the maintenance report after troubleshooting/ maintenance
- Handle ISO Documentation/Raw Data for QA Department
- Accurately update internal Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and monitor the charts
- Assist in training for staff for QC Section-related activities when required
- Maintains and checks inventory of all storage samples and ensure all relevant records are maintained
- Perform receiving of QA department purchase and ensure that received items and all related document are correct at the point of receipt
- Assist in audit preparation
- Support the QA Section in its activities as and when required
- Shall be involved in near miss identification and provide work improvement (QEHS) suggestions
- Maintains the general upkeep and cleanliness of the laboratory and related areas by performing housekeeping
- Strictly adhere to all EHS/QMS procedures in all aspects of the activities and observe line discipline and 5S
- Performs any other tasks as instructed by the supervisor, engineer, QC section manager and HOD

Job Requirements

- Minimum Diploma in Chemical or science discipline preferred
- No experience are welcome to apply
- Experience with analytical instruments like ICP-MS, AAS, etc. is preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly in both writing and verbally and good interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 standards will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
- Willing to work in cleanroom environment

Compensation

- Working location: Tuas (within walking distance from public transports)
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
