Job Description

- Ensuring smooth kitchen operations of store.
- Guiding a team of Cooks in delivering to customers.
- Handling food preparation and ensuring company standard (following training manual) quality and standards are achieved.
- Working close with all team members from both Front of the House and Back of the House to ensure smooth operations and exceed customers’ expectation.
- Guiding and monitoring work performance of all staffs.
- Conducting opening and closing inventory of beverage and managing stock ordering.
- Maintaining of the hygiene and tidiness of kitchen area and storage area.
- Ensuring compliance to food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards according to statutory guidelines
- Ensuring company’s policies and standard operating procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Any other ad-hoc duties base on operational needs.

Job Requirements

- At least secondary school qualification and above.
- Minimum 5 years of cooking experience in a similar capacity kitchen, including 3 years in managerial level.
- Prior experience in Japanese restaurant will be an added advantage.
- Ability to speak Japanese language is preferred, to liaise with Japanese management, staffs and clients.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, passionate, and quality-focused.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple-task.

Compensation

- Working hours: Shift rotational (between 7:30am to 11:30pm)
- Working days: 5 days/ week (Shift rotational including weekend & public holiday)
- Working Location: Jewel Changi
- Establishment: Fusion of Japanese & Western cuisine
