Job Description

- New business development, lead generation for business opportunity and pipeline management until project closing
- Lead generation, marketing execution including participating trade exhibitions attended, conducts platform demos.
- Customer success, onboarding, training and post-sales support for customer and upsell opportunity
- Identify client needs or requests and inform internal teams about any necessary action to be taken
- Follows up with clients on any required data, documents or other missing information
- Maintains good relations with client company representatives, including regular email communication and occasional in-person visits
- Collects and reports general information about the chemical industry to internal teams
- Works on other small projects as and when needed

Job Requirements

- At least 3 years of experience in sales/business development, prior experience in a chemicals/materials relation company is preferred but not essential
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline, science or chemistry background is preferred but not essential
- Fluent in Japanese for both spoken and written to liaise with Japanese clients as this is a Japan role.
- Able to communicate in English (at Business Level) in order to liaise with internal teams in Singapore and India
- Proactive, independent, time management, good personality
- Logical thinking, analytical and committed.


- Official working hour: 9am - 6pm
- Hybrid working arrangement (WFH and/or on-site for 2-3 times/week)
- Working location: Toranomon Hills Business Tower, Tokyo, Japan
