Job Description

- Answer customers’ queries and prepare quotations
- Handle and arrange import and export shipments
- Liaise with overseas agents to check on the shipping documents, rules, and regulations for the respective countries
- Liaise with the warehouse for cargo details and movements (e.g. receiving, deliveries, etc.)
- Customs formalities (send instructions to the customs broker)
- Close communication with vendors, shippers, customers, carriers and overseas agents
- Accurately manage paperwork documentation for shipment billing/invoicing and closing of files after shipment completion
- Coordinate door-to-door shipments (exports and imports) – including but not limited to transshipments
- Work with the respective project managers to coordinate shipments, plan strategies and execute ad-hoc cut airway bills

Job Requirements

- 1 year of experience in Air freight operations processes
- CargoWise Knowledge is an added advantage
- Possess valid DG Certificate is an added advantage
- Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- English and Mandarin fluency to liaise with Chinese suppliers and external parties

Compensation

- Working hours: Mon to Fri 9.30am - 6pm, Sat (WFH) 9.30am - 1pm
- Working location: Nearest MRT Somerset
