The company offers a variety of products including seasonings, frozen foods, processed foods, beverages, sweeteners and amino acids for the consumer market as well as the catering and food processing industries. Apart from its marketing and sales activities locally, the company also performs vital functions to support the Group’s global operations, such as the procurement of flexible packaging materials, chemicals and raw materials, the provision of logistic solutions, and developing new businesses in the region.

Job Description

- To execute sales activity for customers in Food Service channel
- To manage Food Service team members motivating and educating them well
- To report and communicate with Superior
- To perform competitive analysis and develop sales proposal
- To make and propose business and marketing plans base on market analysis
- To increase market share and meet personal and team’s sales and profit targets
- To execute approved action plans and strategies towards achieving annual sales target
- To develop new market and strengthen customer base
- To ensure prompt payment collections
- To service and manage key accounts by conducting sales visits and products’ presentations
- To work closely with Sales Admin team to co-ordinate on orders and deliveries requirement
- To manage launching, importing and inventory of Frozen Foods products
- To work with Ajinomoto affiliates and external suppliers
- Report to HOD

Job Requirements

- Bachelor degree holder is preferred
- At least 5 years of related working experience in handling customers from food service channel (Distributors, Restaurants, Hotels, Cafés, etc.)
- Those with interest in foods, food culture, food business (including Japanese foods) is preferred
- Proficient in English and Mandarin to communicate with Chinese clients
- Japanese language is an added advantage to liaise with Japanese clients
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, and team-working mind for customers and colleagues
- Results-oriented and steady efforts mind for difficulties
- Logical thinking
- Those able to start work within short notice is preferred
