- Responsible for purchasing of raw materials and supporting of supply chain order fulfilment process
- Maintain in company software system all purchasing master data related to suppliers, pricing and freight
- Establish contracts per global / regional / local negotiations and awarded allocations.
- Process purchase order, samples and maintain order status in company software system
- Laise with suppliers on delivery, forecast, quality reject/claim and shipping / payment term.
- Develope alternate sources to create cost saving opportunities and improve security of supply.
- Evaluate and select suppliers that comply with specifications, regulations and sustainability sourcing requirements.
- Attend to internal / external audits and purchasing initiatives / projects
- Ad hoc duties as assigned.
- Min GCE O level or Diploma in material management will be an added advantage
- Min 3 years relevant working experience in manufacturing environment
- Good communication, negotiation skill and team player
- Aggressive and able to work independently in a dynamic environment
