ClosedOur client is a modernize & front-end Private Company Limited by Shares, incorporated since 2016 in Singapore.
The Business's principal activity is wholesale of metals and metal ores (eg steel pipes) except general hardware with wholesale on a fee or contract basis (e.g. commission agents) as the secondary activity.
- Constantly maintain an accurate understanding and application of Commodities Trading Contracts and their obligations
- Perform planning and execution of shipment process in accordance to the relevant commodity contracts
- Perform accurate interpretation of contract terms in order to execute payments or receivables (including Letters of credit, DP/DA, TT & etc) effectively
- Provide assistance in the planning of cargo shipments including vessel nomination, shipping advice, insurance declaration, discharge port agent appointment, load/discharge operations
- Manage and ensure accuracy of all shipping and payment documents including invoices, shipment documents issued by suppliers or external vendors
- Ensure timely and accurate issuance of preliminary, provisional, final invoices in accordance to contractual terms
- Ensure timely and accurate settlement of Accounts Receivables and/or Payments including laytime, freight differential & etc
- Liaise with respective departments including commercial, risk, finance, shipping & etc to perform resolution of issues identified
- Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as and when required by the Operations Department
- Graduates from local university with Bachelor of Business or Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant
- At least 2 years' relevant working experience in iron ore / steel trading
- Candidate who does not have experience is welcome to apply, training will be provided.
- Possess a pleasant disposition and positive learning attitude
- Able to communicate effectively (spoken and written) with external counterpart from Singapore, China, Australia, Hong Kong, India and etc
