- Gather information from existing systems for transition into Cloud.
- Deploy, support and monitor existing and new services, platforms, and application stacks to meet complex business needs.
- Measure and optimise system performance.
- Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to drive the company’s capabilities.
- Design tools, automation and execute on plans for a secure and efficient Continuous Deployment and Continuous Integration environment.
- Analyse and enhance current software practices by instituting DevOps practices.
- Define guidelines, procedures and processes for operational functions.
- Effect Agile methodologies to resolve issues and collaborate with various stakeholders to develop processes to report on rooms for improvement.
- Provide Agile team’s inputs to various work streams.
- Other responsibilities as required in the course of business.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.)
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- System engineering skills e.g. advanced Linux System Administrator skills, familiarity with Amazon Web Services, and advanced configuration management systems skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills: Ability to translate technical ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to document support procedures to ensure that environments are properly maintained.
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced working environment
