Job Description

- Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man-hour returns and coordinate all aspects of site issues for repair projects
- Liaise with client and comply with inspection requirements
- Monitor job progress and ensure quality work at targeted schedule
- Study and evaluate the work processes and methods of the department and explore new ideas to improve work quality and productivity
- Resolve any technical problems or issues with client
- Evaluate technical and engineering requirements of the jobs
- Obtain and monitor drawings and technical information
- Prepare reports on job status and project completion
- Conduct Risk Assessment and hazard reporting
- Attend VSCC Meeting, progress meeting, production meeting etc
- Do bi-weekly production planning

Job Requirements

- Diploma/Degree in Marine/Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Preferably with 2-5 years' working experience in a mechanical related field
- Applicants with no prior experience are welcomed to apply
- Knowledge in Ship Repairs and Conversions projects will be advantageous
- Understanding how to read and follow mechanical schematic diagrams and 2D drawings
- Willing to hand-on and perform maintenance on mechanical systems using tools such as Wrenches, Spanners, Bore Gauge and Calipers
- Able to work in outdoor environment - Heat, Grease and Dust
- Resourceful, committed, independent and a good team player

Compensation

- Working location: Changi (Island-wide transport provided)
- 5 days work week: 7.45am-5pm
