Job Description

- Recommend and serve the suitable wines according to the preference of the guests.
- Advice the guests about the best pairs of food and wine.
- Provide the best customer service to the guests in order to maximize the dine-in experience.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by ensuring all wines are served at the right temperature.
- Ensure that there is continuous and adequate feedback being communicated to the Manager in regards to guest comments on the scope and content of the wine list.
- Ensure communication with Manager to identify wines that need to be upsold in order to maintain stocks.
- Maintain and update the wine list and collaborate with Procurement Department to renew the selections.
- Responsible for maintaining and executing all the special beverage promotions designed to increase beverage sales in the restaurant.
- Ensure all beverage stocks in the wine stand are used, stored and accounted for following company policies and procedures.
- Manage the wine stock and inventory replenishment.
- Ensure the wines are kept under a right temperature to prevent unnecessary stock loss.

Job Requirements

- Minimum Diploma in Hospitality/Culinary Arts or relevant disciplines.
- Minimum WSET level 3 qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Sommelier is required.
- Possess good interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation

- Basic salary + AWS
- 5 days working per week (closed on Monday & Tuesday)
- Working hour: 10.30am-3.30pm, 5pm-11pm
- Benefit: 14 days annual leave, increase by 1 day year by year
