ClosedOur client specializes in the development and production of polymer and syntactic foam based seismic, marine, buoyancy, cable protection, thermal insulation and rubber-based fire protection solutions for the offshore industry.
- Setting up and adjusting machine and equipment
- Constructing and assembling mechanical systems
- Utilizing power saws, cutting torches, and chipper knives to cut structural components as needed. (welding and cutting torch knowledge are a must.)
- Assembling fabricated parts to produce tools and machines.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults with tools and machinery and performing regular maintenance
- Replacing damaged or defective structural components as needed
- Adhering to all work-site safety rules and regulations
- Basic knowledge in hydraulics and piping system
- NITEC in Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience as mechanical fitter
- Working knowledge of the principles and mechanics of plant equipment is essential
- Strong safety mindset and participate actively in safety initiatives and events
