ClosedOur client specializes in the development and production of polymer and syntactic foam based seismic, marine, buoyancy, cable protection, thermal insulation and rubber-based fire protection solutions for the offshore industry.
- Conduct material inspection.
- Ensure that all welding work is accordance to weld map and welding procedure and specification.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspection before, during and after welding to ensure compliance.
- Co-ordinate with external 3rd party/client for NDT inspection.
- Liaise with 3rd party inspector/client in steel and welding inspection.
- Preparing necessary inspection reports related to project requirement.
- Conduct visual and dimensional checks on purchased accessories.
- Conduct blasting and painting inspection accordance to painting procedure/customer’s specification.
- Reporting to Quality Assurance Manager on all quality related issue for steel fabrication, painting, and welding work.
- Prepare and submit of welding documents, Incoming inspection report, Traceability report, painting documents and dimension reports to Quality Assurance Manager for approval/review.
- Candidate shall possess at least Professional Certificate (CSWIP 3.1/AWS).
- Candidate must have some NDT experience.
- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
