About Company

Our client is a Japanese IT company providing system operation consulting, information technology (IT) staff, office support/product sales, and security services. The company offers hardware and software services, including computers sales, Web/mail hosting, IT products/OA machines sales and installation, and computers/IT products troubleshooting and repair services; network services, which include LAN/network, DSL line, server equipment, user workstation, printers and scanners, and TV conferencing setting up services, as well as installation and setting up of security, such as firewall; and maintenance services, such as data backup setting and confirmation, windows update.

Job Description

- Configuration and migration for a large number of PC <1000
- Be familiar with Win 10 and Win 7 to support for upgrade, deployment, migration
- Attend and respond users’ queries via phone calls and emails for IT related problems such as PC, remote desktop, installation, network, software/hardware to the extent of dealing with in-depths troubleshooting and backed analysis
- Escalate unsolved issues to 2nd level support team/department/vendor
- Record call logs into the system for all queries from the users
- Take ownership and follow up the issues and status of it to solve in a timely manner
- Move around heavy IT equipment occasionally for logistic matters
- Weekend duty involved for periodical/occasional events such as DR, power shutdown, inventory, ad-hoc project
- Other projects and ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

- Preferably at least 1-2 years IT support experience
- Study at Nitec/Diploma in IT or Computer related field are in advantage
- Possess knowledge of PC, desktop & laptop, primarily IT desktop support
- Teamwork spirit, processing strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Monthly IDS Saloon (via Zoom), $20 allowance per attendant
- Medical allowance up to $600 per year
