About Company

Our client was established in 1997. A wholly owned subsidiary of a major chemical company in Japan. They produce Super-Pure Hydrogen Peroxide and Ammonium Hydroxide for the semiconductor industry.

Job Description

- Reports to the Administration Manager.
- Preparing and processing timely distribution of salary, bonus, increment salary slip.
- Working with recruitment agencies to source for candidates.
- Act as the point of contact regarding labor registration issue.
- Maintaining HR records, such as health and medical insurance.
- Handling insurance-related issues and keeping records of staff insurance and ensuring timely renewal.
- Planning and conducting various welfare activities.
- Preparing and submitting all relevant HR letters/ documents/ certificates as per the requirement from employees
- Renewal of work permits and work passes
- Liaising with all government agencies such as MOM to ensure adherence to compliance.
- Recording, maintaining and monitoring attendance to ensure employee punctuality.
- Maintaining and regularly updating master database (personal file, personal database) of each employee.
- Preparing and submitting IR8A and IR21.
- Managing staff training (sourcing, booking, and recording) and ensuring the compulsory courses are attended before the expiration dates.
- Adheres to all environmental, health and safety rules and regulations
- Ensures compliance to all EHS rules and regulations
- Actively participates in all EHS programs conducted by the company
- Works towards the achievement of the corporate’s objective for zero accident and incident; Reports on near miss and incident
- Ensures good housekeeping and cleanliness in all work areas
- Any other duties as assigned by the Administration Manager from time to time

Job Requirements

- Degree in HR Administration/ Accounting preferred
- At least 5 years experience in HR related field
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office software and Excel
- Experience with Sage EPE payroll software is preferred
