- Ensure development and implementation of standard policies and procedures for procurement operation of Eastern Cement Industries Ltd by following the Management instructions
- Develop and manage efficient sourcing and category management strategies through relationships with the key suppliers to ensure effective and timely purchase of various required raw materials
- Develop and maintain negotiation strategies to ensure profitable and cost effective deals
- Analyze trends in pricing and business activity in order to asses present and future market situation to determine appropriate timing of purchase which ensure the best deal for purchasing cement raw materials
- Responsible for analysing and calculating the cost of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditures
- Ensure the overall planning, forecasting and preparing the yearly purchase budget by analysing business growth & market price trends and also considering place, quality & quantity for all raw materials of cement
- Ensure regular and accurate market speculations to anticipate market trends and minimize costs
- Ensure optimization of sourcing strategies and procedures to attain maximum cost efficiency
- Execute the overall purchase and ensure on time delivery for Eastern Cement Industries Limited as per minimum reordering level and storage capacity
- Responsible for discovering trustworthy factories and international traders for dealing partnerships
- Prefer Bachelor's Degree graduate in any discipline. For experienced candidates, educational qualifications will be relaxed
- Minimum 10-12 years of relevant experience in purchasing/procurement
- Understanding of Cement raw material sourcing, vendor management, cost control techniques, data interpretation and collecting figures
- Advanced in sourcing new leads for business, resources, suppliers or partners.
