Our client managed the gourmet hall of terminal 2 at Changi Airport Singapore.
The food available reflects the rich Japanese culture that comprised of the traditional and fusion.

Job Description

- As our main communicator with our Japanese franchisers regarding operation/setting up issues
- To coach employees to understand Japanese Food Culture
- To operate and manage daily kitchen operation and report directly to the General Manager
- To work hand in hand with the Local Head Chef in daily operation
- To ensure kitchen safety & hygiene at all times

Job Requirements

- Ability to communicate in Japanese language (To negotiate with Japanese franchisers / contractors / suppliers from Japan)
- Ability to communicate in basic English language with local staffs
- Ability to communicate effectively with restaurant manager during operation
- Ability to handle NEA officers' inquiries if required
- 7 years of working experience dealing with Japanese food would be an advantage
- Had lead at least a team of cooks & sous chefs in a Japanese Kitchen
- Basic Computer knowledge (Excel) is required
- Able to start work immediately would be an advantage to your application
