- Leads and manages the Ops & Support engineering requirements for vessels support
- Prepare & manage short and long term activity plan for the section in line with the project schedule and budgets
- Support and coach the direct subordinate personnel, monitor the performance, develop and implement corrective actions if needed
- Review design reports and ensure that engineering considerations, such as safety regulations and design standards are met, in accordance with directives and department processes
- Review, analyses and investigate maintenance issues based on onboard measurements and system database
- Review obsolescence management proposals on replacement solutions
- Plan and organize relevant system design and design changes in co-operation with design authority
- Degree or Masters in Marine or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of engineering design experience in marine environment preferred
- Possess man management experience to manage a team that consists of Principal Engineers and Senior Engineers from Naval Architecture, Mechanical and Electrical sections
- Experienced in managing client’s expectations and offer engineering solutions on site with minimal support from OEMs
